  32.                       - INSTALLATION AND BACK-UP -

  35.     Before you do anything make a back-up copy of this program. As a
  36.     shareware version your are free and encouraged to make additional
  37.     copies of this program. The only legal stipulation that the author
  38.     requires is that you copy all files on the original program disk in
  39.     their entirely.  Please pass the shareware version around to your
  40.     friends for their evaluation. Then register your copy for the
  41.     Basic Peace Officer Course's INSTRUCTOR GUIDES.

  43.     To INSTALL the PROGRAM on your hard disk, from the floppy drive just
  44.     type: INSTALL and follow the prompt. The installation will create a
  45.     sub-directory on your hard drive.

  47.     This is a "Self-Extracting" Program.

  70.     The installation files will remain in the floppy and will not copied
  71.     to your hard drive. Those files are not needed to operate this
  72.     program.  This will save you hard disk space.  The installation will
  73.     place you into the actual program for your review.

  76.                         - STARTING THE PROGRAM -

  79.     To START the PROGRAM, from the hard drive you go to the sub-
  80.     directory that you named and type: GO. For example, if your sub-
  81.     directory is LAWMAN then type:

  83.                             CD\LAWMAN [Enter]
  84.                             GO [Enter]

  86.     When you want to leave the program, keep pressing the "Esc" (Escape)
  87.     Key. You will be asked if you wish to leave the program then type
  88.     "Y" for yes. Finally, to go back to the "root" directory of the hard
  89.     drive type:

  97.     To PRINT the Program MANUAL, once inside the program, you then
  98.     select the "F1" Key (Help option).  This will place you in the
  99.     LookBook Help section.  You can then print the help file by
  100.     selecting the "F10" Key (Print option).  There are 14 pages of text.

  144.     and tried many different Electronic Book and Reference Systems. I
  145.     finally settled on LookBook (c) by Red Oak Data System. In my
  146.     opinion their program had everything I was looking for and more. If
  147.     you think that you could use a system such as the one I used for
  148.     this program, then contact them. I strongly recommend this program.
